Welcome to Elk Run, a luxury mountain home located in the distinctive community of Elk Run. As an end unit of a gorgeous four-plex, this Elk Run condo offers privacy as well as unobstructed views of the Continental Divide.

This amazing home is on two levels and has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is nestled in the pine trees and is very close to the national forest offering 600 miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, fishing, and off-road vehicles. The options are endless!

Elk Run is conveniently situated a half mile above downtown Winter Park, where most of the restaurants and retail shopping are located. Just two miles down the road is the town of Fraser, where there is a  Safeway grocery store, liquor store, and Ace Hardware are located.  In the summer, Fraser offers a fantastic local rodeo for its visitors, and many other activites too numerous to mention!  The free Winter Park Ski Shuttle stops within a half block from this condo and will deliver you to the ski base within 10 minutes – or you can simply drive two miles to the free parking located at the ski base.

Elk Run offers guests a large and fully-equipped gourmet kitchen for even the most discerning cook.  There are granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances. The dining table seats six with extensions that will accommodate a total of eight.  There is a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience as well as an attached garage, free wireless internet and a new private hot tub located on the main level deck. Imagine soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the gorgeous Continental Divide!  What could be more relaxing?

The living room is equipped with a distressed leather sofa, a reclining chair, and a fantastic stone fire place that lights with a flip of a switch.  In addition, there is a 37” LCD TV with a DVD player . The master suite is located on the main level and has a queen-sized bed. A separate bathroom houses a Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower with a bench.

The lower level of Elk Run has a second living room that has a 32” LCD TV with DVD player, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, wet bar, and a foosball table. This room is dedicated to the guest that still has energy left after a great day of skiing or mountain biking!  The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and bathroom. The third bedroom provides two twin over twin bunk beds that will sleep four.   A guest bathroom with double sinks completes this level.  All bedrooms are appointed with high quality linens and bedding.

Just minutes from Winter Park Resort, Colorado Adventure Park offers tubing, airboards, snow scoots, sledding and sleigh rides at varying prices.

Tubing, the most popular of the Park’s family activities, is perfect for ages 3 and up. Take a ride on the Magic Carpet lift or cruise on a variety of terrain from slow and easy to fast and wild, whatever your heart desires.

Limited only by your sense of adventure, the Parks newest addition, airboards, are newer, faster tubes that can be steered. With a private terrain park, airboarding is soon to become a Park favorite for the 13 and older crowd.

Perfect for those competitive kiddos, snow scoots, a Polaris 120 snowmobile, are available to be ridden along groomed track in the Park’s meadow. In operation from 10 am to 6 pm, scoots are available to kids ages six and up and under 130 pounds.

And because we know that the three and under crowd doesn’t want to be out in the cold with nothing to pass the time, free sledding is offered and will keep the little ones grinning from ear to frozen ear.

After a busy day at the park, families can enjoy a scenic sleigh ridge provided by Fossil Ridge Horses through the meadow at Colorado Adventure Park, while they cuddle under a blanket. After a brisk ride, the whole family can cap off a perfect Park day with a cup of hot chocolate by a roaring fireside.
