The Lakota home offers privacy from all locations – enjoy the hot tub or a gas-grilled meal while gazing at the unobstructed view of the slopes from private lower patio or upper deck.
If you are in Winter Park, be sure watch the night time ski show down the front ski slopes at Christmas and New Year’s Eve – it is awesome!
Lakota 503 has a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, a 32″ LCD TV with Sony DVD Home Theater sound system as well as radiant (heated) flooring throughout the homes (under carpet/slate tile). Mmmmm…. I can feel the warm floor under my feet now…! There is a heated garage, gas fireplace (enjoy a fire with a flip of a switch), full-sized washer/dryer, complimentary wired and wireless high-speed internet.
During the ski season, Lakota offers owners and guests a complimentary ski shuttle to and from Winter Park ski base from Thursday – Sunday. The shuttle stops at the end of Antlers Way Drive (about a half-block walk) and most times will cruise up and down Lakota looking for passengers. If you cannot get out the door in time for the private shuttle, Winter Park offers a free shuttle service from several parking lots (free) located just outside Lakota. Guests can drive one block drive to the free Winter Park parking lot, and hop on the Winter Park free shuttle that runs a continuous circuit from the parking lot to the base. You can leave home and be in line at the chair lift in 10 minutes with both the private shuttle and the free Winter Park shuttle.
Lakota 503 has a queen master suite and a bathroom with dual sinks, Jacuzzi corner tub, and a separate walk-in tile shower room. There is also a queen bedroom and a bunk bedroom equipped with two twin/twin bunk beds. There is also an oversized chair that converts into a twin bed in the lower two bedrooms and a spare twin mattress stored in the closet. This home is high end but very kid friendly. All linens and bedding are of high quality.
The dining room has seating for 6 people and the ends can be extended to accommodate 8, or even 10. Out on the upper deck, you can relax on the bar-height outdoor furniture or recline in either of the two lounge chairs which are perfect for sunning, or enjoying the amazing views of the slopes and stars at night. The lower deck allows you to enjoy the private 4-5 person hot tub with the same stunning views as the upper deck. Our home is professionally cleaned and maintained and the upscale accommodations are ideal for a single family or a group.
